A commentary

It's in residential street, a mile away to the south from Peterhead the easternmost town of Scotland.
It was first run by Donald McLeod & Co in 1830's and they made beer.
In 1875 it was remodeled foe whisky distillery and owner changed several times and in 1970, it was owned by Long John International.
It was operated till 1983.
When I visited there in 1983, there was no structure left from those days but a warehouse with an indistinct paint that said "Long John Scotch Whisky".
