A commentary

Broombrae distillery is said to be built on the opposite side of Woodland Place at the corner of Dalaruan Street and High Street.
We can guess that Woodland Place used to be there where cherry blossom tree is at Glen Scotia so Broombrae distillery should have been standing on the North-West side of Benmore Distillery.
It was built in 1833 but there is little known about this distillery.
You can find houses named after this distillery which reminds us that Broombrae did exist.
